Independent sailor Jack Carver curses the day he arrived on this island. A week earlier, an arrogant reporter named Valerie offered him an astounding amount of money in exchange for taking her to this unruined paradise. However, moments after its mooring, Jack’s boat was greeted by artillery fire carried out by a mysterious militia group that reigns over

the island.

As his boat is destroyed, money lost, and beautiful Valerie disappears, Jack is forced to face an army of mercenaries in the wild surroundings of the island, with only a rifle and his own wits. But the more he delves into the lush jungle, the stranger things take

place.

Jack comes across an agent in the militia who uncovers horrific details about the mercenaries’ true intentions, and he faces a disturbing choice: to fight the most dangerous mercenaries, or to put humanity into the hands of an insidious madman.
