BorderZone is another title, the plot of which is set in the distant future. We are talking about around the year 9000. This product is a combination of classic action game and simple RPG. A key element of BorderZone are duels. The player takes on the role of a certain Olaf, one of the few surviving humans inhabiting the planet Terra. All the others died as a result of an event called as the Breakdown, which took place several centuries ago. Terra is inhabited by 10 different races. The game proper begins in a city called Taria. One of the main activities of the player is exploring the huge game world, searching for more and more recent quests and fighting more. Despite the fact that the main character of BorderZone is Olaf, during the game he controls as many as five characters in total. Every subordinate hero must, of course, be developed. In addition to improving statistics, the player must also take care of their inventory. There are traditional weapons to choose from, and much more powerful – magical ones. Many moments of the game allow you to choose one of several ways to behave through which the game becomes non-linear. The player’s conduct will lead to one of several different endings

At the very beginning of the game, the player must decide what profession his hero should represent. There are several standard ones to choose from, among others, warrior, magician, soldier or thief. In addition to the already mentioned five heroes, free mercenaries join the team led by Olaf. In exchange for the appropriate payment, they will help the player in heavier fights. They are not controlled in any other way. The attributes of the main character can be distributed among several categories. These include, among other things, defensive skills or abilities in the use of different types of weapons (or magic). The monsters featured in the game are divided into races, character classes and

professions.

Each player can choose one of several weapons at any time. They are stored in slots specially prepared for this. About 80 types of melee weapons appear in the game. People who prefer magic can choose from dozens of spells, divided into offensive and defensive.
